Dean Michael Malone
I’m Dean Malone, a Saskatchewan-born Canadian who made Puerto Vallarta home after relocating from Vancouver in 2021. After more than 18 years of vacationing here with my husband, Darren, the decision to move full-time was about more than lifestyle—it was about community, connection, and belonging. Puerto Vallarta has long felt like home, and now it truly is.
Before entering real estate, I built a career in senior health care management within the older adult care sector, with earlier experience in mortgage lending, property management, and human resources. This background shapes how I work today—with structure, accountability, integrity, and a deep respect for people and their goals.
I began my real estate career in Puerto Vallarta in 2022 and joined Donner & Associates in the spring of 2023. I am an Affiliate member of AMPI (Asociación Mexicana de Profesionales Inmobiliarios) and am formally registered and accredited by the Government of the State of Jalisco as a Real Estate Advisor—a distinction held by only a small number of agents statewide.
This registration reflects rigorous training in Jalisco real estate law, consumer protection, contracts, ethics, and professional standards, and ensures accountability under official regulations.
My leadership roles and philanthropic work in Canada have helped me build meaningful, long-term relationships—something I value just as deeply in my work here. In 2012, I was honored to receive the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal from the Governor General of Canada in recognition of community contributions in Vancouver, British Columbia and across Canada. Today, I help people find more than just a property—whether it’s a vacation home, a lifestyle move, or a strategic investment.
